Ideas have been in my head for what I want to get as a new DD. I'm hovering around the 15 grand range and have thought about anything from a GTO to a S60R to a M5.

But then I thought, why not really live on the edge, what about a S600 Biturbo V12?

I'd say bad idea, especially for a DD. Nothing about this car screams DD, at least not reliable efficient DD. lol Of all the cars you've listed, I'd go with the S60R

our resident "APiDA" daily drives a S500.... Not saying I disagree but come on, a biturbo V12 that can sound like a zonda would be a FUN DD lol

My friend is going through the same #TheStruggleIsReal right now.

His front runners are iirc G35/350z, Abarth, SRT6 (wants to jack my style) & the Civic SI. There are a few more but I can't remember them right now.

But as for the S600 ...

dude it seriously has been, my friend who I bought my 745i off of has a 00 M5 and I loved driving it. He is 50/50 on me buying one as a DD because he's unsure of how it will hold up. Tons of ragged out M5's running around, he thinks he just got lucky buying his as it has zero vanos issues, doesn't burn a lot of oil like some do, and generally just drives great.

an RS6 would be awesome but I think an Audi would put me in the poor house faster than an RS6 could get to 60mph

I like options, the evo's and STi's are great for a performance standpoint but the interiors and general build quality remind everyone that they are built off of an economy sedan.
